Things that are in the past
Our Spring Rally was held at Big Rig Friendly Resort in Columbia beginning April 28. We had 33 people in attendance. We had 4 new members and one guest. Our new Southern Area VP Mike Smalley and his wife Doris joined us. Our hosts the Fullers had some great new ideas in store for us. We had a baked potato bar and a cruise on Lake Murray. Both were big hits. The facility was great and very accommodating.

March 12 was the Perry GA rally. It was a very good rally with great attendance. The Pirate theme was well received and there were many costumes and decorated golf carts. There were many seminars and demos going on. The Pirate Parade was a lot fun. We gave out about 20 chapter registration forms at the chapter fair and hope to get some returned.
Our chapter suffered a major loss while we were in Perry. We received word that Anne Roney passed away. We will remember her at our Rally at Big Rig Friendly Campground in April.
The entertainment was great at the Rally. My pictures never come out good inside.
It was difficult to pick the best pirate costumes there were many great choices.
Rally was held Dec 2 to Dec 6 2024 at Hideaway Resort. Great attendance and great hosting by the Downings and the Woolards and several volunteers. I am sure everyone had a great time. The weather was chilly but we had lots of great food and games to keep us busy. Dinner at Judy Boones was a big hit.
The 2023 Christmas Rally was held at Hideaway Campground From Nov 29 to Dec 2. We had a great time. Activities included a meet & greet, Carolina Christmas Opry event, a catered BBQ meal, a line dancing class and live entertainment by Don Swanerbury. Our hosts were Jim & Shirley Giffin, and Gene Failmezger.
The Fall Rally at Willow Tree RV in Longs, SC was fantastic! The rally was held from September 23 to 26, 2024. The weather could not have been better and everyone had a good time. Our Hosts Linda Kolfrat, Diana Eldridge & Sherry Bayer did a fantastic job setting up this rally. The food was wonderful; we had 3 breakfasts, 2 dinners which included a catered meal and a hamburger/hotdog cookout, and a happy hour Meet & Greet. Some of the guys played golf and most of those in attendance had dinner at Dale’s Seafood in Tabor City. Our own Larry Stephens provided live entertainment. The 20th Anniversary of the chapter was celebrated.
